Python Job: Client Portfolio Manager

• Becoming a subject-matter expert in thematic equities with a focus on topics such as healthy living, biotech and urban living, including associated ESG matters.
• Representing thematic investment teams to clients globally and articulating the investment theme value proposition and positioning.
• Working with various teams to respond to requests for data and/or information in a timely manner.
• Helping to produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual thematic content.
• Helping improve and coordinate our thematic ESG materiality matrices, engagement & proxy voting activities and impact frameworks.
• Actively contributing to investment meetings.
• Communicating with the media and writing & publishing thought-leadership pieces in your area of expertise.
• Acting as a link between investment teams and the rest of the organisation (sales, marketing, RFP, wealth management), providing updates through the available communication channels.
• Keeping track of the competition offering and performing comparative analyses.
• Coordinating and contributing to our thematic advisory boards.
• Helping the development and refinement of thematic ideas.

The Successful Applicant

• Some work experience in public equities (analyst, PM, risk manager, etc.); a CFA or equivalent would be a plus.
• Graduate degree-level education in Healthcare or Science and some work experience outside the financial sector.
• Impeccable written communication and public-speaking skills in English (native or equivalent)
• Keen interest in the healthy living, biotech and urban living themes as well as ESG-related matters
• Affinity to develop impactful presentations (flow, content and design).
• Excel proficiency; additional technical skills would be a plus (e.g. Tableau or Python).
• Excellent interpersonal skills (able to 'read' clients and connect).
• Highly entrepreneurial, proactive and self-motivated.
• Able to multitask and work at the last minute under pressure while keeping an eye for detail & critical thinking.
